1. Regarding the expansion of Video Pass anime content

The lineup of anime-genre TV broadcast-linked products and flat-rate video content will be expanded progressively.

2. Regarding the Termination of the Anime Pass Streaming Service

With the expansion of the anime content of Video Pass, Anime Pass, the unlimited content anime streaming service for au smartphones, will be terminated.

    • The service agreement of customers currently using Anime Pass will be automatically cancelled as of the final streaming date.

    Regarding the campaign
    During the period from January 27 to April 30, 2016, customers already subscribing to Anime Pass [1] will be able to use the Video Pass (Unlimited Viewing Plan) free of charge for 30 days, and will also receive a gift of one rental ticket that may be used to enjoy a new release or a popular item.

This offer is not available to customers who have already cancelled their subscription to Anime Pass prior to subscribing to Video Pass. Regarding Video Pass

Video Pass is a video streaming service for au smartphones that for a monthly fee of ¥562 (excluding tax) offers subscribers unlimited viewing of video products covering many different genres including movies (Western and Japanese), drama and anime, together with one rental ticket per month that can be used to view a new release.
In order that as many customers as possible might experience Video Pass, new subscribers may try the service out free of charge for 14 days. At present the flat-rate video streaming service offers unlimited viewing of over 10,000 items, and this list will continue to be added to in order to enable subscribers to enjoy more high-quality products.
