1. Overview of au Smart Value mine

(1) Details of discount

 By combining an au smartphone contract with a Wi-Fi WALKER WiMAX2+ contract and applying for the au Smart Value mine service, customers can receive a discount of up to ¥980 (tax included) per month [1] from their au smartphone usage fees.

    This amount applies to customers who apply for a 4-year contract for Wi-Fi WALKER WiMAX2+. For a 2-year contract, the monthly discount is ¥780 (tax included). However, for customers who enter into a 2-year contract by the end of August 2014, the ¥980 monthly discount will apply for a period of 2 years, starting from the month after subscribing.

    A contract termination fee (¥9,975) will be charged for canceling the contract, suspending the contract, or changing the price plan in any month other than the month of contract renewal. However, if the customer changes from a 2-year contract to a 4-year contract, the contract termination fee will not be charged.

    This exemption does not apply to the communication speed constraints that are imposed when reaching the limit for the total amount of monthly communications in high speed plus area mode.
(2) Application conditions

When applying for au Smart Value mine, customers must satisfy both of the conditions below.

  1. (1) au smartphone (up to 1 line)
    The customer must have a subscription to one of the following price plans: LTE Flat, IS Flat, Plan F (IS) Simple, or Plan F (IS).

  2. (2) Wi-Fi WALKER WiMAX2+
    The customer must have a subscription to one of the following price plans: WiMAX2+ Flat for DATA (2 years) or WiMAX2+ Flat for DATA (4 years).
