Financial Results for the Fiscal Year Ended March 2024

●Summary

Consolidated revenue for the fiscal year ended March 2024 were 5,754 billion yen, an increase of 1.5% compared to the previous fiscal year. Consolidated operating income decreased by 10.7% from the previous fiscal year to 961.6 billion yen due to the temporary impact of provisions for lease receivables for the Myanmar telecommunications business, and profit attributable to owners of the parent decreased by 6.1% from the previous fiscal year to 637.9 billion yen,while the other business results progressed smoothly.
The Company projects a consolidated operating revenue of 5,770 billion yen (yoy +0.3%) and an operating income of 1,110 billion yen (yoy +15.4%) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. We also plan dividends per share of ¥145 (dividend payout ratio 42.6%) for the year as well.
And the board of directors of KDDI Corporation at its meeting held on today, resolved that we will repurchase its own shares up to 300 billion yen.
