KDDI announces new rate plans for VoLTE compatible au mobile phones

Concurrent with the release of AQUOS K SHF32, Japan's first VoLTE compatible au mobile phone, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular will start its new VoLTE rate plans, which are applicable to 3G mobile phone users as well.
There will also be additional rate plans applicable to AQUOS K SHF31 that was released in February 2015.

The new rate plans for the VoLTE compatible au mobile phone include VK Plan M and VK Plan S that come with a free call allowance comparable to 3G mobile phone rate plans as well as VK Plan that features free domestic calls with au mobile phones from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you already subscribe to any of VK Plan M, VK Plan S or VK Plan, you will be eligible for Double Flat-rate (VK) which is a flat-rate data communication service that costs ranging from ¥500 to the maximum of ¥4,200 depending on your data communication usage.
Heavy users of voice calls and data communications will appreciate the package price consisting of Unlimited Voice Call Plan (VK) that allows unlimited domestic voice calls for the flat monthly rate and Flat-rate Data service (VK) that offers 6 choices of usable data communication capacity from 2GB, 3GB, 5GB, 8GB, 10GB and 13GB per month.

LTE Plan S is a new rate plan with the free call allowance for AQUOS K SHF31.
