1. Campaign Description

Discounts will be as follows, with the first month being counted as the month following the date of application for the campaign.

    • Unlimited Calling Plan and Flat-rate Data service must be subscribed to together. Rate plans and Flat-Rate data services for au VoLTE are indicated by a "V" at the end of the plan name.
    • Discount period will change when eligible discount service is changed. When changing from a three-year service to a two-year service, the discount period will change to two years. When changing from a service with a two-year discount period to a three-year service, the discount period will remain two years.
    • Even during a valid discount period, said discount will be revoked in the event of a transfer, succession or change in subscriber, or the cancellation or suspension of the line in question.
    • This discount may not be re-applied for in the event of revocation due to cancellation or suspension by the subscriber.

2. Eligible Users

(Students)
Customers who are students at schools designated by KDDI and Okinawa Cellular.

(Family)
Family members who have applied for a Family Discount with a student eligible for this campaign.

• New elementary school students as of April 2015 may also apply for this discount.

(Both students and their families)
Application must be made at the time of a new or MNP contract.

• Will be verified through information on existing au mobile phone subscriber, or registered user information in the case of a registered user.
• Limited to one phone line per person. Duplicate applications are not allowed.
• Customers switching between KDDI and Okinawa Cellular, and from an MVNO operator using KDDI/Okinawa Cellular lines, or from K-Opticom (mineo), are not eligible.

3. Conditions for Application of Discount

The eligible student or family shall have a contract under an eligible rate plan and discount option, either the Everybody Discount or the Smile Heart Discount.

4. How to Apply

A separate application for the au Student Discount is required. Applications can be made at any store carrying au products.

5. Campaign Sign-up Period

January 21, 2015―May 31, 2015

Waiver of au Smart Pass monthly information charge

Discount is as follows, with the month following subscription in au Smart Pass as the first month.

Description	Monthly information charge (¥372 excluding tax) will be waived through May 2015.
Eligible users	Customers who apply for au Student Discount during the subscription period, and who subscribe to au Smart Pass.
How to apply	Subscribe at stores carrying au products or through the service site at http://auone.jp/ (In Japanese only). Charge will be automatically waived for eligible customers.
Campaign sign-up period	January 21, 2015―March 31, 2015

• Includes initial subscription benefit of 30 days free.
• For users who leave au Smart Pass during the charge waiver period and then re-subscribe, the charge waiver period will begin the month following re-subscription, with the regular monthly information charge applying to the month subscribed.
• The au Smart Pass charge waiver benefit will no longer apply, even during the applicable Student Discount period, if for any reason the Student Discount no longer applies or is revoked.
• The monthly information charge of \372 (excluding tax) will automatically be charged at the end of the charge waiver period.
