KDDI announces "au loves Ghibli" campaign to support the When Marnie Was There x Yohei Taneda Exhibition held in commemoration of When Marnie Was There movie release

    "Mitsumeru Ghibli-Ten" website
    Customers can use their smartphones to experience the world of the When Marnie Was There x Yohei Taneda Exhibition, with close-up views of various small items and decorations that appear in the movie When Marnie Was There, as well as with immersive panoramic views of the world featured in the movie, and glimpses of the detailed craftsmanship for which Ghibli is famous.

    The "Mitsumeru Ghibli-Ten" website adds another level of enjoyment to the When Marnie Was There x Yohei Taneda Exhibition by enabling users to view the display items before they see them at the exhibition, and by providing a deeper understanding of the display items after they visit the exhibition.

    Free tickets exclusively for au Smart Pass subscribers
    Tickets that provide advance access and various other premium benefits for the When Marnie Was There x Yohei Taneda Exhibition are offered as exclusive gifts to a total of 8,600 au Smart Pass subscribers.

      Pre-opening tickets (1,000 pairs, 2,000 people)
      These tickets provide early access to the When Marnie Was There x Yohei Taneda Exhibition.

      Standard tickets (3,000 pairs, 6,000 people)
      These tickets provide access to both the When Marnie Was There x Yohei Taneda Exhibition and Ghibli-no-Rittaikenzoubutsu-Ten.

      Night museum tickets (150 pairs, 300 people)
      These tickets, which are available only to au Smart Pass subscribers, allow special access to the exhibition after standard museum hours. A special tour of the exhibition conducted by Yohei Taneda himself is included.
      • Visitors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

      Tickets to exclusive events hosted by Ghibli (150 pairs, 300 people)
      These tickets provide access to exclusive events such as a recording of the Ghibli Asemamire radio show produced by Toshio Suzuki, and a special screening of The Secret World of Arietty directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi.

    A campaign booklet that features interesting details and behind-the-scenes stories from When Marnie Was There, as well as information about the When Marnie Was There x Yohei Taneda Exhibition and Ghibli-no-Rittaikenzoubutsu-Ten, is offered as a present at event sites, au Shops across Japan, and Ghibli-related facilities.

    A variety of cute LINE stamps featuring Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro and Kodama from Princess Mononoke are offered. (A total of 16 stamps are available.)

In addition, special content available only through the website, such as staff journals that offer a behind-the-scenes look at Studio Ghibli, is offered exclusively to au Smart Pass subscribers.
