KDDI expands au Smart Support service by offering wearable device trial rental service

Devices added to Smartphone Trial Rental service

    Items from the au +1 collection have been added to the selection of devices that are available for use with the Smartphone Trial Rental service, which is a free rental service that lets au Smart Support members try an au smartphone for 15 days [*] before purchase.
    • The service is available for use in Japan. In addition, the 15-day rental period includes the time of shipping the device to and from the customer.

    The service is available to au Smart Support members who live in Japan and are at least 20 years of age.

    The Smartphone Trial Rental service is now available for the au +1 collection devices listed below.

Face-to-face support service trial

  1. 1. Description
    A service facility will be set up to offer face-to-face support to customers who make appointments in advance. Comprehensive support similar to that of telephone support will be provided to customers, on topics ranging from how to configure initial settings and operate smartphones, to personalized tips on how to get more from their device.     Contact the support team phone number on the au Smart Support member ID that you received after subscribing to au Smart Support. You must schedule an appointment at least 5 days in advance of the day that you would like to receive face-to-face support. [4]
