'New au Adjust Plan' Offers Permanent Savings of up to 40% Rates From ¥1,980/mo.

Beginning on June 1, 2019, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular will offer the "New au Adjust Plan," enabling each member of a family to access service for a monthly rate as low as ¥1,980.

"New au Adjust Plan" automatically applies a monthly charge in three stages starting from ¥2,980 depending on the amount of data used, thereby eliminating waste. An additional "Family Discount Plus" benefit beginning October 1, 2019, reduces monthly "New au Adjust Plan" charges by up to ¥1,000, depending on the number of family members who subscribe to the plan. With "Family Discount Plus", rates for customers with two subscribing members start at ¥2,480 per month. With three family members subscribing, monthly rates start at ¥1,980. With data usage at 1GB, the savings can be as much as 40% compared to previous plans. [Jump to the applicable section1]

New au Adjust Plan

On top of these savings, "Family Discount Plus Start Campaign" is offering subscribers to the "New au Adjust Plan" the full "Family Discount Plus" savings of ¥1,000 per month from June 1 through September 30, 2019, regardless of the number of family members who subscribe. [Jump to the applicable section2] The launch of "New au Adjust Plan" will be accompanied by changes to the conditions of eligibility for the existing "Mobile Phone --> au Smartphone Discount" and "Kakeho Wari 60" promotional campaign discounts.

1. Benefits

Eligible customers who subscribe to both the New au Adjust Plan and a Flat-Rate Call plan receive a monthly discount of ¥1,000 beginning the subsequent month.
