Announcement of Exhibit at International ICT Trade Fair CeBIT 2017

KDDI will present an exhibit at CeBIT 2017, which is the world's largest exposition for IT solutions. The five-day event will take place in Hanover, Germany from March 20 to March 24, 2017. This marks the first time for KDDI to present an exhibit at CeBIT.

CeBIT is a business-to-business exposition for the information, communications, and digital technology industry, which is held every year in March at the Hanover Fairground in Germany. With a focus on IT businesses that use cutting-edge technology such as IoT, big data, AI, cloud computing, and security, CeBIT features exhibits by approximately 3,300 companies from 70 countries and regions [1], and it attracts approximately 200,000 visitors from over 100 countries and regions [1]. Large numbers of international visitors attend the event, with one in five [1] coming from outside of Germany.

Japan has been selected as the official Partner Country for CeBIT 2017, and KDDI will hold its exhibit in the Life/Office/Society zone in the Japan Pavilion (organizer: JETRO). The exhibit will showcase services and technology with a wide variety of potential applications ranging from those that are familiar to everyday life, such as automobiles, agriculture and fishing, to those for specialized areas of industry and infrastructure.

KDDI's exhibit will include VR tsunami evacuation drill simulator, smart drones, Security by SIM Card, remote operations support system that can be used with smart glasses (KDDI Vist@Finder), electric power control technology that can reduce CO2 emissions, and KDDI's data centers (TELEHOUSE).
