Announcing the Start of the "KDDI Mugen Labo Partnership Program" and the Establishment of the KDDI Open Innovation Fund II

1. Partnership Program

(1) Overview

The "Partnership Program" is a concept the aim of which is, in addition to the assistance in service development, management support, etc., that has been provided by "KDDI Mugen Labo", to bring together the assets and knowhow of 13 companies from a variety of industries that support the message of "KDDI Mugen Labo", greatly expand the scope of the support offered to start-ups participating in the program, and create new services through integration of the start-up and the established company.
Of the 13 supporting companies, 5 will be mentor companies and 8 will be support companies. The mentor companies will together with KDDI act as mentors to the program teams and will provide the start-up companies with powerful back-up, while the support companies will provide broad support for all the teams through regular weekly events and meetings.
