KDDI announced the financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2020.
Summary
In the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, consolidated operating revenue increased 3.5% year on year, to ¥3,902.6 billion. Consolidated operating income was up 2.6%, to ¥843.9 billion mainly due to increase in driven by growth domain such as the Life Design domain and Business Services segment.
Profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent rose 5.0% year on year, to ¥530.9 billion.
We have achieved 82.7% of our consolidated operating income target for the full fiscal year, meaning that we are well on progress.
In addition, KDDI resolved to revise its forecast for cash dividends per share with a record date of March 31, 2020.
