当社は「KDDIグループ人権方針 (該当項目へジャンプします注)」を掲げ、人権を尊重し、持続可能な豊かなコミュニケーション社会の発展に貢献することを宣言するとともに、その方針に従い真摯に事業を行っております。
ミャンマーにおいても、当社はこれまで、同人権方針に従い様々なビジネスを通じて同国の経済と社会の発展に貢献して参りました。当社は、現在のミャンマーの情勢が緊迫していることを深く憂慮しておりますとともに、かかる情勢下においても、関係者の安全確保を念頭に置きつつ、ミャンマー国民の生活に不可欠な社会インフラの維持に努めております。
当社は、2021年3月15日にミャンマー日本商工会議所が表明した声明を支持致しますとともに、早期に現地の安定が回復することを切に希望しております。

KDDI's Statement on the Situation in Myanmar

We, KDDI Corporation, have "KDDI Group Human Rights Policy [Jump to the applicable section1]" that clearly states our commitment both to respect human rights and to contribute to the development of a sustainable and rich communications-based society, and we, further, sincerely operate our business in accordance with the policy.
In Myanmar, under the policy, we have been contributing to the country's economic growth and social development by operating some businesses there. However, today, we are deeply concerned about the tense situation in the country and we, keeping in mind the safety of all concerned, have been striving to maintain the social infrastructure that is essential to daily life and businesses of the Myanmar people even though the current tough situation.
We support the statement released from the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Myanmar on March 15, 2021, and do hope that the local stability will be restored soon.
