    Compared to previous (MARVERA) models.
  • IPX5: The unit will retain its functionality as a phone even if blasted with water projected at all angles through 6.3 mm nozzles at a flow rate of approximately 12.5 liters per minute for more than 3 minutes from a distance of approximately 3 meters.
  • IPX8: Water will not leak inside and the unit will retain its functionality as a phone even if it is gently immersed in a tank of still tap water at room temperature at a depth of 1.5 meters and placed on the bottom for approximately 30 minutes.
  • IP5X: This means that the unit is protected to a point where the entry of test dust (a diameter of 75 μm or less) will not ruin the unit's functionality and safety. Do not place the unit on sand. If the unit becomes dirty, rinse it immediately in clean, lukewarm tap water. Do not use a brush, sponge, or detergent when cleaning.
  • A drop test was conducted in which the unit was dropped in 26 different orientations onto plywood (lauan) from a height of 1.22 meters. This test is compliant with MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6-Shock Procedure IV, which is established by the US Department of Defense. The ability to withstand all types of impact is not guaranteed.
